Libro de Visitas

I have narrowed my notes to Deep Summer and Soft Winter for now. The charts look clear until I hold similar fabrics near my face. I started by taking photos beside a north-facing window at the same hour. I kept the setup plain by avoiding lipstick, jewellery, and busy prints. Some deep colours added clarity, while others made the overall effect feel severe. Muted blue and berry shades seemed easier, though I am unsure whether that is familiarity. My checklist records contrast, visible texture, and whether my eyes look clearer. A structured color analysis could make the comparison more systematic than scrolling through palette boards. I know a digital result cannot settle a close seasonal comparison on its own. How have you checked whether depth or softness is doing more of the work? I would appreciate approaches that are realistic outside a studio. For now, I would rather improve the comparison than choose a category too quickly. I hope that a slower record will make my final comparison less influenced by mood. Thanks in advance for examples of what you found genuinely repeatable.

Before spending on another foundation sample I want to get a more reliable read on my undertone. I notice that phone images can appear different in the kitchen than they do near a window. So I am planning to take a few pictures in soft daylight without filters. I will also compare a white card and a muted gray scarf near my face. Rather than treating one image as proof I will keep the light and camera position consistent. I found this skin undertone test camera keeps the experiment small enough to repeat. After that I will try makeup samples on my jaw rather than my wrist. For anyone who has done a similar check, which whether gray fabric is useful or just an unnecessary extra? I know a camera cannot replace seeing real skin in changing light, and I am not expecting a perfect answer from one home experiment. My goal is simply to make the next store visit less confusing. Keeping a short record of conditions should also help me recognize when a surprising result is probably caused by lighting rather than my actual coloring.
